Since March 2009, Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa have been strengthening their cooperation and successfully offering code share flights between Germany and Belgium.
In the course of the realignment of code share flights between Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines announced that, as of 25 October 2009, flights to and from Berlin and Brussels will be operated exclusively by Brussels Airlines, and flight frequencies will be further increased.
Thanks to the use of larger aircraft, Brussels Airlines will be able to increase the number of seats offered on weekdays from approx. 450 in winter to approx. 650, representing a 45% increase.
Starting with the winter flight schedule, up to seven flights a day will take off from Berlin Tegel to Brussels.
